She earned a bachelor's degree in biology and psychology at Rutgers University and her dental degree at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She practiced in Boston for six years before moving to the Bay Area.

The practice says she completes more than 100 hours of continuing education a year. It names the Spear and Kois education centers among the places she trains. In September 2025, the page says, she graduated from the Kois Center. The team page also introduces a registered dental hygienist with close to two decades of experience, along with other team members.
