About Barry's Palo Alto
Barry's Palo Alto is the interval training chain's studio at Stanford Shopping Center. Barry's describes the spot as next to Pressed Juicery and across from Gap. Every standard class runs 50 minutes in the training room Barry's calls the Red Room. Half the room starts on treadmills with short sprints and hills while the other half lifts on the floor, then the groups swap. Floor blocks use dumbbells and resistance bands for squats, deadlifts, bench presses and rows. The body parts targeted change with the day's schedule. With Double Floor, you stay on the floor for the whole class. Book through the Barry's website or app, where the Palo Alto schedule shows class times and instructors.
