The Santa Clara Marriott is one of the biggest full-service hotels in Silicon Valley, set on Mission College Boulevard north of Highway 101. Levi's Stadium, the Santa Clara Convention Center and California's Great America are all close by. Marriott describes the stadium as within walking distance. The hotel has over 58,500 square feet of meeting space, several dining outlets and a pool that Marriott bills as the largest in Silicon Valley. For Palo Alto visitors, it makes sense for a 49ers game, a concert at Levi's, a conference at the convention center or a day at Great America, followed by a trip up Highway 101 to Stanford.
This profile is based on Marriott's official page for the hotel, checked on November 3, 2026. We do not publish star ratings or reviews. Fees below are what Marriott listed that day and can change, especially on event dates. For live rates, check the Santa Clara Marriott on Booking.com or book with Marriott.

Our road estimates assume Highway 101. It is one of the most congested freeways in the region on weekday mornings and evenings, so plan for 45 minutes or more at rush hour. The express lanes on 101 can help if you have FasTrak. Our traffic guide explains the peak windows.
Transit and event days
Marriott lists four transit options nearby: the Santa Clara Great America station (served by ACE and Capitol Corridor trains), the Lawrence Caltrain station, San Jose Diridon and Milpitas BART. For Palo Alto, the most useful is Caltrain from Lawrence, about 2 miles south. A short rideshare gets you there. Trains run north to Palo Alto in roughly 15 to 20 minutes. Check the fare, since Lawrence may be a different zone from Palo Alto.
VTA light rail also runs along Tasman Drive near the stadium. The Orange Line connects to Mountain View station, where you can switch to Caltrain for Palo Alto. On stadium event days the trains get crowded and roads around Tasman Drive and Great America Parkway close or slow to a crawl. Our Levi's Stadium guide covers bag rules, parking and transit. Note that the 49ers play their November 22, 2026 home game in Mexico City, not at Levi's.

Dining on site
This is one of the few hotels in this guide where you can eat well without leaving. Marriott lists four outlets:
- Bosc + Bartlett for lunch and dinner, indoors or on the patio, plus the hotel bar.
- The Orchard for breakfast, including a buffet.
- Coffee Corner for coffee, tea and breakfast bites.
- Le Petit Chef, an immersive dinner experience with animated projections on the table. Reservations are required.
Marriott does not post hours or say whether breakfast is included. Assume it is a paid meal unless your rate says otherwise.
Food nearby
Santa Clara Square on Augustine Drive is the closest restaurant cluster, a short walk or drive from the hotel. These spots were confirmed open in our Santa Clara food guide on November 2, 2026:
- Bafang Dumpling at 2702 Augustine Drive, Suite 110, Taiwanese dumplings and beef noodle soup.
- Puesto at 2752 Augustine Drive, Mexico City style tacos and a patio.
- Jak's at 3333 Coronado Place, modern Indian plates.
For Korean barbecue, El Camino Real in west Santa Clara is about 15 minutes south. Jang Su Jang at 3561 El Camino Real is the best known. On game days, eat near the hotel and walk to the stadium rather than drive out and back.
