On this page
Cupertino eats in shopping districts. The city never had a classic main street, so its best-known restaurants sit in centers along Stevens Creek Boulevard, De Anza Boulevard and North Wolfe Road. That layout has an upside. Parking is usually easy. A single stop can cover dinner, dessert and coffee.
This guide focuses on Main Street Cupertino, the open-air district that has gathered the largest group of sit-down restaurants, plus a ramen shop on Wolfe Road and a coffee shop near De Anza College. We list only places confirmed on their own websites or ordering pages in late October 2026. Descriptions are factual: what each place serves and where it is. For parks, Apple Park and city history, see our Cupertino town guide.
How Cupertino dining is laid out
Main Street Cupertino sits on the north side of Stevens Creek Boulevard near Interstate 280 and North Wolfe Road. Sand Hill Property Company runs it as a mix of restaurants, shops, offices, apartments and a hotel, with addresses in the 19300 and 19400 blocks of Stevens Creek and along Vallco Parkway behind them. Across the boulevard, the old Vallco mall site is slated for a new neighborhood, so expect construction.
Stevens Creek and De Anza boulevards run through the center of the city with strip centers full of Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean and Japanese restaurants, tea shops and bakeries. North Wolfe Road north of Stevens Creek has another cluster of Asian restaurants and markets.

Casual meals and groups

Pairing a meal with a visit
Cupertino's restaurant mix reflects the city around it. Large Chinese, Taiwanese, Indian and Korean communities support specialty bakeries, tea shops and regional restaurants that are hard to find in Palo Alto. Main Street adds national and Bay Area chains that suit families and office groups. If you have time for only one stop, Main Street gives the most choice within a short walk.
Many Palo Alto visitors come to Cupertino for the Apple Park Visitor Center on North Tantau Avenue, a few minutes east of Main Street. Lunch at Main Street fits naturally before or after. Hikers coming down from Rancho San Antonio or the Stevens Canyon preserves can stop on Stevens Creek Boulevard on the way home. Memorial Park, where the Cherry Blossom Festival runs each spring, sits near the De Anza Philz.
- Drive: Cupertino has no Caltrain station. From Palo Alto, take Interstate 280 or Foothill Expressway.
- Park: Main Street has garages and surface lots. Weekend evenings fill up, so allow time to circle.
- Book: Alexander's, Koi Palace Contempo and Pacific Catch take reservations. Weekend dim sum and steak dinners fill earliest.
- Stay: Main Street has a hotel on site. You can compare Cupertino hotels if you are visiting Apple or De Anza College.
Changes in 2026
Shopping-center restaurants change quickly. Directories lag behind. Oren's Hummus closed its Cupertino restaurant on September 11, 2026, though the Main Street directory still showed it in late October. Its Palo Alto and Mountain View branches remain open. Before you go anywhere on this page, open the restaurant's own site or ordering page. If a directory and the business disagree, trust the business.
