On this page
Los Gatos has one of the most compact restaurant districts in the South Bay. North Santa Cruz Avenue runs north from Main Street past boutiques, wine bars, bakeries and restaurants. Main Street crosses it at the Town Plaza, where the farmers market sets up on Sundays. You can park once and walk to Greek fine dining, a New Orleans bar, a French pastry shop and a gelato counter.
The town's visitor site lists dozens of places to eat. This page covers places we confirmed on their own websites in late October 2026. Descriptions stay factual: what each place serves, where it is and what its website says about hours. For parks, the creek trail and the miniature railroad, see our Los Gatos town guide.
How downtown is laid out
North Santa Cruz Avenue is the spine. Its first blocks, closest to Main Street, hold bakeries and cafes, while the blocks farther north add larger restaurants and a brewery. Main Street runs east to west across the plaza and holds several sit-down restaurants in older buildings. South Santa Cruz Avenue continues south of Main toward the hills.
